Boxing classes — F8 Training Studio, Konyaaltı Antalya

Boxing isn't just throwing punches; it's a sport built on footwork, distance control, head movement and timing. Because those fundamentals carry straight into Muay Thai, kickboxing and MMA, many athletes start with boxing.

At our boxing gym in Konyaaltı, classes begin with the correct mechanics of the straight punch, hook and uppercut. Technique settles through pad, bag and shadow work; defence and controlled sparring are added by level.

Boxing classes are led by Doğukan Siler: Turkey National Muay Thai Team Coach and Member of the Muay Thai Technical Committee for Minis and Juniors. Your group and pace are set together with the coach; technique is corrected one-on-one in every class.

What a class looks like

Every class has five parts; pace and load are adjusted to your level.

Warm-up and skipping

Rope, shoulder and wrist mobility; boxing rhythm starts on the rope.

Shadow boxing

Stance, footwork, head movement; straight, hook and uppercut lines in front of the mirror.

Combinations on pads

1-2, 1-2-3 and defensive combinations on the coach's pads; distance and timing.

Power and tempo on the bag

Punching power, round structure and breath control on the heavy bag.

Conditioning and core

A short conditioning block and core work; recovery to finish.

Who it's for

People who want solid foundations

Boxing is the base of every combat sport: distance, footwork and timing are learned here.

Reflexes and conditioning

Head movement and pad work sharpen reflexes; round structure builds conditioning.

Weight loss

Fat burning through high-tempo rounds, without getting bored on a machine.

Stress and focus

Bag and pad work lets stress go; technical focus clears the mind.

Competition-minded boxers

Defence, counters and controlled sparring in the advanced group.

Teens

A separate group for teens; see kids & teens classes.
